Product Review: Henna Sooq Sweet Mimosa Butter

Henna Sooq Sweet Mimosa Butter
I've been using this product for months now and have been loving it. First off, my hair really likes butters so when I saw this on the Hennasooq's website I was really tempted. Then I read the ingredients and  it was 100% vegan- I had to get it.  It was about $12 which is reasonable. A little bit of this goes a long way.

Henna Sooq Sweet Mimosa Butter

It has a fairly thick consistenty but when you apply it seems to get absorbed right away and feels light on my hair. I use this mostly for updos and taming flyways. It has excellent hold and haven't had any build up. It washes out of my hair pretty easily and I mainly switch between cowashing/shampoo bars.

The smell is divine. It smells like peppermint and ginger mostly and softens throughout the day. It's nothing overpowering or anything.

I use about a dime size amount and rub it between my palms. I find it melts right away and run some through the crown and down my length. What's left I rub into my hands and it helps to soften my skin too.

The only downside is that in the winter the products hardens but i usually run the container under hot water and its alright.

Recommend it? : Yes, I would definelty recommend this. I think it protect and nourishes my hair from the harsh winter as well as improved the texture of my hair. With consistent use of this product, my hair has never been softer and makes quite an impression when I leave it out.

  1. I might try this, does it leave your hair greasy? That is always a big concern of mine.
