Cruelty Free Brand Focus: Murad

1. Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion , 2. Murad Oil Control Mattifier SPF 15 PA++, 3. Murad Acne Spot Treatment , 4. Murad Acne Spot Treatment
Since starting this blog, I alway's refer to Phyrra's CF List  before making a purchase. But while perusing some forums and groups, I learned something that I had forgotten! Murad is one of the major cruelty free brands out there. So I thought I would do some research and share my thoughts on some products.  Murad offers a no-nonsense and effective approach to skincare.

They have a very cool and mindful approach to beauty which I think everyone needs to consider. I like that they emphasize healthier lifestyles as a part of skincare and not just shove products at consumers.

As a acne sufferer, I definitely found products that work for me within this brand that I have not found elsewhere.

Below are just some of the Murad Products I have.

1. Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion: This is my HG. I use it every other night since it's a retinol and it reduces the redness and blotchiness in my skin. It absorbs quickly and is non greasy. The skin perfecting lotion helps to soothe my acne angry inflamed skin. Just wish it were a little cheaper.

2.  Murad Oil Control Mattifier SPF 15 PA++: I find this works best when I wear it under my make-up. It definitely reduces shines and I like the SPF.

3. Murad Acne Spot Treatment: Whenever, I feel a pimple coming on, I usually dab this on along with some tea tree oil and it lessens in size before coming up. The only thing is it is bit drying so I wouldn't recommend for those with sensitive skin.

4. Murad Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel: When I read it only has 1% salicylic acid, I thought it wouldn't do much. But I was WRONG. I don't know how, but it works! And it works fast!
I use this on a need only basis as night treatment since it does leave a visible film residue.

Are you a Murad Fan, too?

    1. Usually between $30-$60 for full size products but I would suggest checking out some of their skincare sets. They're usually cheaper and offer a variety or product. These have lasted me some time....about a month and they're the minis!

  3. I've always been interested in Murad products, but I have never tried them! I think I'll try exfoliating acne treatment gel! I don't get breakouts too often, but when I do they're a pain to get rid of! Http://trulygorgeousskin.com
